Missed this round and can’t wait for next year? We accept late additions, all the way up to the end of May 2024! (Anything afterwards, you’ll have to wait for the 2024 AUctoberfest round.)

All past prompts are up for grabs! You can find them here. We will be adding the 2023 prompts shortly.

Do give us mods a heads up so we can add your work into the AO3 collection and do some promo.

The requirements are simple - all works must be completed, have Snarry, set in an Alternate Universe (more than the usual Snarry fare of EWE and Snape Lives AU) and be accurately tagged & rated.

2023 Snarry AUctoberfest Stats

As we count down the days till reveals, how about some stats?

This year we have 26 individual creators -- 1 filker, 3 artists, 1 podficcer, 26 writers. (Yes, some creators did more than one medium!)

We also had our first filk submission! 🎉

We added 366,936 words to the Snarry side of AO3 -- a glorious side of AO3, if you ask me. 🤭🤭🤭

Above is the word cloud from all the fics in our fest.

And the five most used words? Well….‘Harry’ comes in at 5869 times, 'Severus’ at 4141, 'Snape’ has 1438, 'all’ at 1143, and 'Harry's' at 1132. We sure loved talking about our boys! ❤️ 💚
